Malaysia Court Upholds 'Seksualiti Merdeka' Ban

Following on the last update, Malaysia's courts, unfortunately, did not think the LGBT rights festival ban was up for debate.

 

Yahoo! News: AG objects to 'Seksualiti Merdeka' ban review

The Attorney-General’s Chambers today objected to the judicial review application filed by the organisers of Seksualiti Merdeka on the police ban of its programmes last November.

This comes after the matter came up at the Kuala Lumpur High Court (Appellate and Special Powers Division), before judge Rohana Yusuf.
